This project was a Design Build contract for a new helicopter maintenance facility to house the Presidential Support Helicopters and Support Staff.

The fire protection scope of work included the installation of a fire protection standpipe system, wet-pipe sprinkler systems, preaction sprinkler systems, open nozzle aqueous film-forming foam (AFFF) system, five (5) AFFF trench nozzle systems, four (4) diesel fire pumps, two (2) AFFF foam pumps, and two 250,000 gallon water storage tanks for the fire protection.  National Fire Protection’s scope of work also included installation of a fire protection standpipe system, wet-pipe sprinkler system, and fire pump system in the fourteen story air traffic control tower.
